During the weekend of the 22 - 25 April 2010 Lamberts Bay takes pride in celebrating their ninth consecutive Crayfish and Cultural Festival.
Crayfish is our main attraction at a ridiculously low price of R70.00 to make it available to all. Lambert’s Bay is the crayfish mecca and this delicacy is prepared in true West Coast style.
Crayfish are not affected by red tide and are completely safe to eat. Although the crayfish season will be closed, crayfish will be available in abundance. The crayfish will be served in a crayfish and Graça wine garden and at the Crayfish stall. Highlights on the menu include Muisbosskerm Paella and a Paella & crayfish Combo. Other food stalls will also be available for the concerned pallet.
For the thirsty over 18’s a cash bar is available.
Girls, bring your wallets for all the goodies that you can buy from jewellery to clothing and something fun for the kids at over 100 stalls.
Activities include quad biking & water balls. Carol will keep the kids occupied with entertainment such as sand art, face painting, jumping castle, cotton candy, pancakes etc.
Music plays a very important part of this festival and we have some of the country’s best artists performing at our festival in this little village. We are excited to host STEVE HOFMEYER on Saturday, 24 April 2010.
Zain Johnson will be the MC for the weekend.
A Miss Blue Jeans competition will be held on Saturday.
Entry forms are available on this site with the following categories:
